SOTA Weight Loss saved my life. At almost 67 years old and 118 pounds overweight, I was morbidly obese and convinced that I could never shed the weight. I used to tell people that I had no metabolism. I felt like I had tried every weight loss program, and while some worked in the beginning, they did not withstand the test of time and I gained weight back. I had no energy; I was not getting enough good sleep and my joints were paying the toll. My body was rebelling, and I was in despair.

When I made the decision to retire in January of 2023, I also made the decision to get my weight to a healthy level. My retirement was going to focus on me and making me better. I had heard about the program on our local talk radio station and decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I did. I also knew that I was a stress-eater, and my job was very stressful. Retiring eliminated the stress.

The program does work if you follow it to the letter and don’t cheat. In the 45 weeks that it took me to achieve my 118-pound weight loss goal, I never had a week where I didn’t lose weight. I was diligent in writing down everything that I ate, drank my water, and did my 30 minutes of walking every day. In fact, it was easy because everything seemed so black and white. There was no gray zone. Another thing that made it easy was the quality of the food. Now that I am done with that part of the program, I am missing some of the SOTA products and wish that I could get my hands on them!

Going through this program also helped create a lifestyle change for me. I no longer crave bad food choices and want to eat healthy. I feel better about myself and have more energy than I have had in a long time. My joints no longer bother me, and I have reduced my medications. My blood pressure medication is ¼ of what it used to be, and I am going to ask my doctor if I can try eliminating it completely. I have also eliminated one of my two thyroid medications.

I want to thank SOTA for my transformation, and particularly my nutritionist and coach, Jerusalem. She was extremely helpful during the process by suggesting ways to stay on plan when going on vacation or recovering from illnesses. She was encouraging and positive.
