I am 5 weeks in, and I can say these things:

I’ve been supported. The meal plan is clear. I’ve followed it to the letter of the law and have lost a significant amount of weight. And while all of that is so important, here are other things: I sleep better. I don’t have crazy mood swings. I can wake up and don’t go into a tailspin because I can’t figure out what or how much to eat for breakfast. I feel good, my clothes fit, and I actually need some new things. My family and friends have noticed. It DOES take the desire to do it. The temptation to cheat, especially early on, is real. Don’t fall for it. It’s worth the self discipline to follow through with the plan.
